MyCAA also benefits the spouses by catering for the fees of any certification of teachers, professionals in medical field or any other professional who requires certification of any kind. The program has made it easier for military spouses to learn and excel.
The [procedure for making an application involves opening an account on the MyCAA website. Depending with information provide on the account, the board decides if the candidate is eligible or not. The applicants who have been selected to join the scholarship program are required to submit their applications 30 days before the course commences.
What exactly does MyCAA scholarship cater for? Normally the scholarship caters for the tuition fee, which basically includes tuition and examination fee. The program also covers the fee for any certification or license obtained from an accredited university, college or a technical school in the state.
The scholarship program does not however cater for all learning costs and it is important for the military spouse to establish what is not covered before taking up the program.
